What we're building

People want to read more but can't stick to it, and most of what they do read leaks out within days. Bookmarkk is a reading app that solves both: a gamified habit layer that gets you reading consistently, and a knowledge layer that turns every book you finish into something your brain can actually retrieve from.

What you'll work on

•Android and iOS app — features, polish, and fixes.
•The infrastructure underneath: Postgres, caching, async job queues, observability. Hands-on with the systems that have to hold up as we grow.

Who we're looking for

•You've shipped real software before — not tutorials or college projects.
•You think in systems. You understand how everything connects.
•You're the kind of engineer who's figured out how to do in 2 hours what used to take 2 days, without cutting corners.

Bonus if you

•Read books (genuinely helps).
•Have consumer app experience with real users — we move fast and we expect you to keep up.
•Know your way around the infra layer — Postgres, Redis, queues, edge — even if just from side projects or reading.
•Have React Native experience.
